Our Facilities

CYC arial

The Yacht Club operates a 120-slip marina for vessels up to 35 feet (length overall) with the average boat stored being approximately 25 feet.

The marina also provides storage options for trailer boats and personal watercraft as well as canoe and kayak storage.

The Yacht Club leases the property from the Village of Croton and its operation is managed and fully funded by its membership. All assets, exclusive of the property, are owned and maintained by the membership.

The Yacht Club provides general maintenance of the property, including access to areas surrounding the clubhouse where Croton residents are permitted and encouraged to fish, crab or simply enjoy the scenic Hudson.

Docks

Croton Yacht club has three floating docks with 120 slips. Each slip is equipped with its own finger pier, and convenient access to water and electric. In addition, the club offers docks for jet skiis and storage for kayaks and canoes. A guest dock is available for overnight stays. The yacht club has two boat ramps for launching and removing day sailors and trailerable watercraft, available first-come, first served.

Security

The club uses a camera security system to protect the docks and facilities. Croton Yacht Club takes every reasonable precaution to safeguard the premises and the fleet, including lighting and patrolling the grounds, but the safety and security is ultimately the responsibility of each boat owner.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse is an inviting and elegant place to escape everyday stress and relax over a cocktail or cup of coffee. The clubhouse has a full-service bar (restricted to members and guests), clubroom, full-size professional kitchen, bathroom facilities, and outdoor deck areas. The clubhouse offers free wireless internet access.

The clubhouse does not have shower or laundry facilities, and use of the kitchen and bar is limited to full Members.

Dry-Dock Storage

The Club is situated on level, secure storage to winter your boat. We provide hauling services, power washing, electric and water lines. Owners are responsible to provide their own jack-stands and trailers, and we recommend frequent safety checks throughout the off season.

 Equipment

The yacht club takes great pride in the equipment  they've built and maintained over the years. Among the notable items are: a 30-ton Crane (nicknamed the Blue Bunny), used to pull docks and boats; a pile driver, used to drive the 30-foot lengths of pipe into the basin every spring; a backhoe; a power washer, and an assortment of power tools.
